An often slightly underestimated aspect of an event is how the light in the room and lighting technology, can affect the image and mood of an event.
It is not only important how the whole thing looks to the people on site, but also to consider that cameras and live streams need a different light situation than the human eye on site.
Coordinating this is the first task, and in the event of a compromise, there must still be a priority.
- Does the event room offer enough of its own light or does lighting technology have to be booked in addition?
- Should the lighting technology necessarily be placed so that it is as inconspicuous as possible for the audience on site?
- Or may the light possibly be in someone’s view, but for that the stage is properly illuminated?
Not every location has permanently installed lighting trusses from above that we or you can use. Therefore, we bring – on request – for reinforcement or only light our lighting technology.
These are movable LED light panels that in some number are sufficient to illuminate small to medium stage situations, if they are not placed too far from their targets.
The panels are area lights and create a soft light field, which can be adjusted in intensity and warmth. We offer 3 panels each as a set for 50,- Euro. Included are 10 meters of power cable and tripods. You can currently rent up to four sets at a time. One set is enough for three to four speakers. At the latest from five speakers you need another set. Each additional stage or location also requires its own set.
The most important thing is that the faces of the protagonists have sufficient lighting.
The following applies: what the eye still recognizes well may already be too dark in the camera image. Especially if there is not enough light coming from the front, but the room as a whole is already quite bright.
If the room as a whole is very large, or the light can only be placed further away from the stage, our light panels reach their limits. The maximum distance from the light to the stage is about 4 meters.
However, some locations work well from the combination of overhead lighting and purely natural light if there are many windows in the room.
Our cameras also have leeway in their exposure in order to brighten up dark places if necessary, but the image quality suffers from a certain degree as a result.
The goal should be to create lighting for the stage that is as balanced as possible and that matches the room. What you can also include is colored mood lighting.

Our colored lights are also LED panels that exist in two varieties: small, softer columns that stand upright and stronger, long strips that rest on the floor and radiate upward.
In doing so, the smaller columns create a light color glow that is suitable for smaller spaces or set-up situations. If you want to display the color elements recognizably even on a somewhat larger scale, you should add the stronger bottom bars.
With the combination of regular light and the mood lights, you can still create that certain something if you use them skillfully. Whether it’s a pure mood color, or to show off the company colors, your stage setting will be even more customized and stand out more to the audience.
