Most streaming platforms like YouTube or Vimeo offer a built-in chat function that can be used for free. (Note: Chat functions e.g. on FB, Youtube, Twitter, Vimeo and Co. require you to be logged in on the respective platform).
All video call platforms also have a chat function. However, the chat function is not part of our service, as the chat is typically visible next to the video on the corresponding platform anyway and does not need to be added by us. Tip: We recommend that if you want to take questions from your audience via chat, you have a person on site who can follow the live stream on a laptop and pass on questions from the chat to the discussants on site.
For complex Q&A sessions that need to be platform independent, we recommend“Mentimeter.com“. For this we offer a temporary license for the event for a one-time fee of 50 Euro.
We do not host a separate chat app ourselves.
