Image size and GIF file sizes
You find a list of dimensions for images and GIFs below that should be uploaded to your event to achieve the best result. Please read the following points carefully before you start uploading your images:
- The maximum size of images and GIF files is 2 MB. Files over 2 MB are not saved.
- Make sure to keep file sizes relatively small (ideally less than 1 MB, the smaller the better) to avoid event pages with lots of images/logos loading slowly for attendees with a poor internet connection.
- Be careful when uploading profile pictures of speakers, as they are usually provided by the speakers themselves and can be high-resolution professional photos. Make sure you reduce the file size before uploading according to the above limits.
- Try to use .png, .jpg, .jpeg or .gif image files (double check the file extension in the name).
- Make sure that important information is in the middle (outside the safe area, more on this below).
- To help you out, we recommend downloading the Hopin image specifications or finding the templates on Figma (they include the safe area), these are great for designing or reviewing your own images.
- You can also use socialsharepreview.com to see how your images appear when you share them on your social media platforms.
Note: The image templates contain a safe area (in green) that should be noted if your images contain text or graphic elements. These should be positioned in the middle of the image (outside the safe area) to avoid the content being cut off when displayed on the event pages.

Note: We recommend grouping booths by size (and then by priority) first.
